Officially official.

I’m not a graffiti artist as the video above clearly demonstrates. I don’t even have nice handwriting… But that visceral feeling of creation is so freeing to me. Even if I suck at it. I wanna try. At least twice.

This is for the magicians, the alchemists, and the slightly cray cray.

So my girl graduated from yoga school and had her first class. It was at Prana Shanti, the new spot on Gladstone. I can’t even describe this class it was such magic. It was outdoors evening sunset vibes. Dancing, music, live drumming —if you know me, you know I’m a sucker for a dope vibe and any reason to dance.… I was there to take pics, but as per usual I couldn’t help myself and I just had to partake in the awesomeness. So I’m stretching, I’m dancing, snapping pics, and at some point at the top of her lungs Jax belts : “The universe doesn’t want you to breakdown it wants you to break free !!!!!!!!!!.” Like afro beat in the back, live drumming with Dennis, and this bitch drops this gem. I swear to God, its like time stopped and she saw right through me and knew exactly what words my soul needed to hear. Like in that moment everything made sense (even if it was only for a split second.. lol). This bad ass bitch is medicine. If you know her you already know, I don’t need to tell you.

So I reached out to another good friend DJ MELO T, and fast forward a few weeks and here we are.

First jam session was fucking brilliant. I’m always so amazed when creative people get in the flow…..especially when the only mandate is to play and see what happens. I swear I live for this shit.

DJ MELO is working his magic now. I’m also in the process of teaching myself new tricks… Stay Tuned baby.
